In order to pressurize and burn the landfill gas collected from the rehabilitated area within the scope of the project, a flare with a capacity of 150 Nm3/h was installed and commissioned.

About The Plant
With the KASMİB Integrated Solid Waste Management Project, which is the EU Grant Project, was initiated for the purpose of providing sustainable solid waste management services at European Union standards and for which the General Directorate of EU and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization is the operating authority, the prevention of pollution of groundwater by landfill leachate, waste storage and landfilling. Damages to the environment such as greenhouse gas emissions have been minimized by rehabilitating the fields.
